The 6th Annual Woodland Tomato Festival

Celebrating the Yolo County tomato, the Woodland Tomato Festival is fun, free, and open to the public. Held annually at Freeman Park in Downtown Woodland, just 25 minutes from Sacramento and close to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Who has the best Salsa in town? Come vote for the best restaurant Salsa at the Woodland Tomato Festival! Audience participation invited! Special appearances by Tommy Tomato!

The tomato is inspiration for an "Iron Chef" style cooking competition between local chefs. With esteemed guest judges, participating chefs are challenged to come up with their most creative tomato cuisine. Not far from transportation hubs at Davis, Vacaville, Fairfield, and Sacramento, the Woodland Tomato Festival is an easy day-trip with something for everyone!

Yolo County Master Gardeners offer classes on all things tomato. Tomato tosses, Tomato variety tasting, Tomato clothing- it's a tomato explosion! Bounce houses, arts & crafts, fair food vendors and live entertainment make this a family friendly "stay-cation". Free and open to the public. This event is hosted by:
